By chance this guy, met in the Chain Locker, Falmouth is actually involved in the brewing of 'Proper Job' and is a Cornwall Camra fanatic who extolled the virtues of various real ales. 'Proper job!' I say indeed!
I think he was snarling a 'Yeeeeeee-eh!' I like most alcoholic beverages myself but i have to say that some of the Czech spirits (or their popular drinks) taste like medicines e.g. Becherovka and Fernet and Slimovic. They make an interesting change though. Mind you their draught lager particularly is great! By the way, I think I ought to put up another one that shows his good lady as well, but I'll put it in my 'Just for Fun' folder.
I see from the Western Morning News for Tuesday that ‘the Fisherman’s Friends have agreed to be the face and sound of the famous Tribute Ale – in return for free beer.’ St Austell Brewery have a contract with the singers from Port Isaac for a CD The Fisherman's Friends Tribute Bootleg Sessions made in the Golden Lion in Port Isaac and several gigs in conjunction with St Austell Brewery for which the men will receive complimentary Tribute for the duration of the year-long contract! It's a good job they didn't ask BayOfPlenty to sing! For a start, he brewery would end up bankrupt!
