The cleft in the cliff at Nanjizel - 13th April, 2009

I forget the name of this cleft but someone once told me on Picture Penzance under another study of this subject.
I m pretty sure I ve never been here but I once had a dream about this exact spot! Freaky...

Now you come to mention it, I caught sight of your face in the pool around the corner and then you vanished but popped up further along in the sea! At least I thought it was you but it may have been a seal, denanmor! laugh#

In case you don t know how to arrive there, go to Land s End, park your car up free as a local (and go to the admissions area and ask for a year s local resident free pass) and then walk about a mile and three quarters westwards until you get to this cove. There are great views along the way so take your camera. I love Chill s name for the cleft in the rock which I presume takes its name from the rush of surf trying to penetrate the cleft. There s a great cave on the beach too.
