A fantastic film on so many levels. A dramatic piece about the work of the RNLI, specifically the Penlee Lifeboat, filmed in the dark days of the second world war, with all the nostaligia of seeing Mousehole and Penzance in the 40s. All the smoking chimneys! Penzance Railway Station with steam trains!!!

    SOS - film

An absolute classic. Anyone know if there's a DVD copy of this film in one of the local archives? There ought to be.

    Thanks for sharing this denanmor.
