A pedestrian died on a slip road of the A30 in Cornwall when he was struck by two vehicles.
The man was killed when he was hit by a Volkswagen van and a Peugeot 206 travelling behind the van on the slip road at Treswithian, near Camborne.
The man is believed to be in his early 30s and from Camborne, police said. He has yet to be formally identified.
The road was closed for about six-and-a-half hours after the incident at about 2110 GMT on Thursday.
