Finn children’s shoes expanded a factory in to Penzance (Eastern Green) in the mid-1960s mostly due to the availability of building space and employment. By the mid 1990’s the Penzance factory was producing 1,300,000 pairs of shoes a year and employed about 160 people. In 1997 the company was made bankrupt.
