A restaurant in Cornwall which opened less than a year ago has been awarded two Michelin stars.
Nathan Outlaw, 33, is the chef behind the eponymously-named Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Rock.
The restaurant is the first in the county to receive the accolade and Mr Outlaw is one of only two new chefs to receive two stars.
The British edition of the Michelin culinary guide is in its 100th year.
Seafood specialist Mr Outlaw said he credited the "quality of Cornish fish and shellfish" for his achievement.
He said: "I am so pleased to receive this accolade from Michelin.
"It's a long way from the boy turning toast on the breakfast shift at my Dad's restaurant."
A spokesman for Michelin said the stars were awarded for "the food on the plate" rather than given to the chef or the restaurant individually.
