This article (above link) was published on the 70th anniversary of the tragic sinking of the HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse. My father in-law Mr Ronald Charles Shears was a surviving boy seaman on HMS Prince of Wales. He is now almost 88 years old and we are now wondering if there are any other survivors. If anyone can advise or help us in finding out please reply, (will be letting this person know via facebook so hope that someone can) thank you for reading xx)

Hi, regarding the sinking of these vessels it may pay you to visit The Cornishman and ask if its possible to visit thier morgue
of past issues of The Evening Tidings and The Cornishman around those dates and see whats available there....if my memory
is right there was a Penzance Mother who received three telegrams on the loss of her sons...
