It is photos like this and the others recently posted by Cornish Lad that make this site so valuable and why I love it.
What a brilliant photo documenting the transition from how it was to how it is. Prefab bases, a marshy river and much greenery to the roundabout and bypass of today. One of my early memories is my mum showing me where the prefab she used to live in was and going over this bridge. I remember how overgrown and exciting it all was. Would love to see a picture of this area before the construction work started.
