This Western National bus was used for tree lopping. This picture was taken in 1976 in Cliff Road. You can see the Pirates Hotel (no longer there) at the foot of Briton's Hill... and look! the Mount Royal Hotel...wow!
I remember this, my Dad worked at Western National, now Lidl's and that had certain perks, one of them was to sometimes ride on this. Perhaps Penzances first open top bus!!
