The Blue bus

I think I'm right in saying that this was the shuttle bus between the railway station and the heliport back in the 70's
Anyone have any info on this?
Not sure, Ron was running the Bedford Duple there '69/'70 i used to drive it for him, maybe this came along mid 70's Ron could tell you.

And it says James Coaches, good clues I would say, as I said probably mid '70's as I stopped driving about '71.

Sorry been busy. The "E" registration was 1967 but then again that didn't amount too much as Cornwall was well known for having older vehicles on the road.

This little Bedford Embassy used to be owned by Ronnie James.

He sold it and the Heliport run to Ken Best, who ran the Longboat pub in Pz.

I knew this little bus well (and its driver Godfrey) as it was me that resprayed it into the colours you see in the photograph.
In fact I drove it for a week's practise before I took my PSV driving test, back in the early 1980's.
