I remember that day, what a crowd in the town hall for that event. Elsie Tanner looked fabulous. I still watch Coronation street, we re about a year behind, so thanks Sparky, for bringing me up todate duh
I remember that day too - My big sister lived in St. Just at that time (Margaret Farley) and took me to see Elsie Tanner. I remember queuing for ages to get an autographed photograph of her!
