Behind the main building and to the right, the ground floor of this building originaly housed the staff room at the front and the physics room behind. The top floor was the dining room. In 1948 as a result of an increase in the accommodation available the dining room became the physics lab and prep room and the old physics room became the music room. Between 1973 and 1976 a number of new buildings were erected on the school site enabling the accommodation in this building to be reallocated again: the physics lab became the staff room and the staff room became separate offices for senior staff.
