Old Newlyn Harbour

No publishers' details but is not a modern reprint. Can anyone suggest a date for this?
Thanks

I see the hulk Cretehill is still there (sharp right) with the shed on her deck. Lidden Estate was well advanced. Cretehill was bombed in 1940. I would say 1939, from looking at other pictures of the harbour.

Thanks, Treeve. I hoped I d get a decade, but within a year is very impressive.

I remember the bombing of the Cretehill which was afterwards reported to be a Battleship by Lord Haw Haw

The Luftwaffe bombed Newlyn in February of that year, reported as a Cruiser sunk, but, as you say, LHH reported a battleship. If you are going to tell a lie, tell a good one.

I was told always wrong, by my father. As if the British would believe that claptrap he would say.
