Looking back at Battery from the Pier before the Bathing Pool

- and before Newlyn Quarry by the look of it.

I actually think this is later, as the profile of the pool is quite different from the profile of the original rocks. Frith photo of the Memorial from near this angle 1924 shows the railings to the walk to the memorial set up and clear, but here they are obscured by the pool wall behind; also the concrete steps down over the rocks (centre picture) can be seen here.

Right, so this is after the advent of the Pool, it would seem to be shown. The sepia tones fooled me maybe. Thanks, Treeve.

I am going through my postcards to find a similar layout and typeface to be able to date it better, I know I have some.
