Heron in silhouette

Planet Penwith mentioned on the Hints and Tips page about not deleting your pics till you've seen them on the comp, which is a good tip. I took the pic of the heron years ago (although pre digital), I took a pic of the moon this summer, and decided to put the two together.

Quite effective, though it begs questions as to species behaviour :)

Human species or bird species Treeve? :)
    • treeve
Which of the heron species would be up so late, and on alert? :)

yes Treeve i was being facetious (one of the only two words in the English language which contain all the vowels in the correct order) it is indeed a Grey Heron, and I did point out that the picture had been manipulated by me!

Cornwall IS a wonderful place, the Cornish ARE an inspiration, but I do not like to give an impression which could be misconstrued, in any way. :) As my first comment, Quite Effective. :)

Oh for heaven's sake, take the image for what it is. A Photoshop or other mishmash, nothing else, no other ulterior motives or designs going on here. Just someone, very effectivley manipulating a couple of images. Nuff said :))
