Treneere 1938 workforce

The men who built Treneere Estate, 1938. My uncle Bert Pascoe worked on the Estate as a painter and decorator. Those were the days when paints were mixed, no ready made stuff in cans. I still have his books on making paints. I suspect that many of these men have relatives here today. Not a hard hat in sight.

If anyone would like a larger scan of any part, let me know, the original scan is 25Mb, not something that is easy to email or post.

My dad was a painter and decorator too, I think I can see him, front row standing 6th from the left in a white coat. ::15: ::15:

Talk about wierd, My dad and two uncles were painter and decorators and worked for the town council in those days, difficult to recognise them now.
