At the bus stop at the bottom of Penalverne Drive, this bus picture (supplied by Tommy Bennett's) shows a Grenville bus. The buses were coloured red and white. Grenville buses got their name because they had their garage in Grenville in Troon. Later the garage was relocated to Leedstown.
