An Onion Johnny

An onion Johny coinage hall street 1890 The coinage hall on the left was replaced by the seaman's mission which is now flats, and to the right later became Taylor's garage and then the Penzance art Galley across the road from the Jubilee swimming pool
Compare with this shot from a similar position. I've just clicked that the building behind the boy is why the street is named Coinagehall Street!

or even 'coinegehall' (sic - very sic!). The sign over the door to the right appears to be marked 'Harbour Master' - I cannot make out the larger signwriting? Fascinating to see two sets of multicoloured patterned brickwork.
