remote firing

i went to the local pound shop today a purchased a multi purpose remote controller credit card sized turned on the cams sensor & set the doooofer (remote) to auto search & lo n behold the camera went off
just had another thought my camera is a nikon d50 but with a little fiddling i'm sure this will work for others

So next time you are in the street, and all of a sudden eight cameras trigger without the owner's knowledge, watch out for ratster sniggering to himself down the pavement,
it is the dreaded camera triggerer of old Penzance Town ....::6:
