Many rivers in Devon and Cornwall are on flood alert after heavy rain.
Flooding is expected on the River Tamar from Tamarstone to Polson Bridge and the River Torridge from Dolton to Bideford.
People living near the Clyst, Axe, Otter, Exmoor, Taw and Teign rivers are being warned to prepare for flooding.
There are hazardous driving conditions on the A377 in both directions in Umberleigh, Devon, between the B3227 junction and the Pound Lane junction.
Met Office forecasters say there will be more heavy rain on Thursday, but it should ease in the evening.
