Trickle

The small rill which runs down from Trereife to the A30 between Mount Misery roundabout and Newlyn Coombe crossroads.
This comes from the spring up in the grounds, that has been a water pool since the Nicholas(?) family; it was formed using clay from the grounds, puddled. In recent years the clay has become holed, and it leaks into the ground, so flow is now less that it should be. The water channel was also blocked when I last saw it. The pool was formed for the farm.

I often was asked why the ground was so wet on a site - I invariably found that an old water course had become lost and it simply found its was underground and over killas and clay beds. Look after your water courses.
