Do you remember the dump at the roadward end of this lane? Was full of old glass bottles.

I don t, but there s certainly a lot of broken glass in evidence further up this lane.

Used to dig up a lot in the late Seventies. Good ones.

@ Pzm that is two things we have in common. This site and digging up old bottles. I used to do that near my grans in St. Helens back in the seventies. Found some good ones along with ceramic marmalade jars and clay pipes.
