I believe so ... I am now working on some info on the old Baths, there is something in Rees, but I have more getting together. I also have read an idiotic report statement about the Prom railing, so I am going to sort that out as well.....

In 1952 i went to live in this building with my dad and stepmother. It was then called Bijou Cottages.Down stairs was one room which was our kitchen, the whole of the walls were completely covered with different coloured tiles in a mosaic fashion. You then went up a flight of stairs to another room which was used as our lounge and you could walk out on to the lower balcony then another flight of stairs to a bedroom and guess what -- a shower, such a modern thing for me in those days. There again you could walk out on to the balcony from the top floor. I can still almost here the thunder of the sea as the waves lashed the side of the building and then cause a vibration right through the building. From memory I think in the front of the building then was some gardens. This is my first visit to your site (great) What a thrill when i discovered the photo.

Thank you very much for your description, adding so much to the history of this town;
welcome to the site, I hope you find many more memories here.
