I'm pleased to announce that Picrure Penzance survived a recent attack. Although the database was partly damagaed, no user data was compromised.
The website is back up and running and now is being updated ready for full members access.
At the top of Causewayhead once stood the cattle market, that is to say after the reservoir was filled in and the pig market was on the other side of the road. Today they are car parks. The market had a profound impact on the town and shops would close halfway through the day.

I seem to remember that it was originally covered over, as the water was being used for the fountain in Morrab Gardens, for a while. I have been trying to discover more about this reservoir with no real headway.
