Built 1934; I have a feature on Art Deco in Penzance, our prime architect was Colin Drewitt, brother of Frederick Drewitt; I wonder if Colin Drewitt s design for the Ritz would have fared any better?
In its present form it is not at its design best; the windows are dreadful and it is in an awful state of disrepair. It is the fate of so many buildings in this town.
