It is one thing creeping up to a cannon outside of a library in a quiet street and driving away - it is quite another anchored to the quay, walking up to the battery, under the eyes (hopefully) of others, or if it is dark that is something else again, and carrying it down and across the harbour on to the yacht? A Francophobic story if ever I heard one.
I don t think the yacht was moored in the harbour but below this spot during the night. The mind boggles as to how the crew achieved that feat. I must ask for an accurate account of this theft.
