Water colour painting c 1880; the artist has very conscientiously put in the masts of the vessels moored outside the harbour against the 1864 Pier, her attention to details on Smeaton's lighthouse, and the crew heading for the lead fishing vessel, colour and the composition are quite striking. There is distance between the foreshore and the cottages, a very competent painting.
