Believe it or not that little table to the right was the only place waitresses were allowed to make up deserts and coffees. On a busy summers night we would be serving 300. I know that you would laugh to think this but for 25years it remained that way until I rebuilt the kitchen in 2006.... giving the waitresses the space they needed in the cold room next door.
