It appears that this vessel was built as Sunbeam III LH215, built Weatherhead Cockenzie 1938. Appeared in Newlyn approximately 1978 as FD225, a decommissioned gill netter. Converted to a lugger by William Stevenson as PZ101 and named Childrens Friend. The date relates no doubt to the Cancellation of the Register Certificate for Porthleven built (1968) PZ 64 Children's Friend on 17th October 1986. A fine lugger
