Newlyn Flood

This Gibson picture shows a flood in Newlyn c1890. Newlyn often flooded particularly in Spring. This is probably one of the earliest photographic records of the floods.
interesting photo.. thought it was coombe road looking across, but on closer inspection looks like bottom of chywoone hill, (going over bridge as it is now) towards new road, great pic :) xx
