Lifeboat House 1860, St Ives

This rather insignificant shed is the original lifeboat house, opposite the old school, and the base of The Island; The original arch door head with a granite keystone can be seen. The lifeboat used to be launched via Porthmeor, which is remarkable given that there are hidden rocks.
