Young House Martins still in the nest, 28-9-2012
is this what they look like?? ...yeah ok a stupid question as you have taken the pic, but i have never seen house martins and especially of ones in the nest like the one above, a great picture!
 
My guess is that you've seen them without knowing Sparky, they can be easily mistaken for Swallows when flying around, but they lack the tail streamers of the Swallow and they also have a white rump, which is the best indicator.
 
They're always really cute when they peep over the brim of the nest like this, often in a small gatehouse at Godolphin House.
 
I know lots of birds breed twice during summer, but i didn't realise they bred this late Tpp.
