Finn Shoes Penzance

Finn children’s shoes expanded a factory in to Penzance (Eastern Green) in the mid-1960s mostly due to the availability of building space and employment. By the mid 1990’s the Penzance factory was producing 1,300,000 pairs of shoes a year and employed about 160 people. In 1997 the company was made bankrupt.

there's got to be about 50 members of staff in this pic alone... (just guessing) my mum always took me here when I was a young child, and the front of staff in the shop were very friendly and accommodating that much I remember :) xx
