I was rather taken by the notice which talks of 'happy chickens' having laid these eggs. I learn from Radio Cornwall lately that 'free range' does not necessarily mean that chickens are running freely and happily about even if the rules are followed. We are simply being charged more with that impression! But here the fowl obviously cannot complain overly judging by their run in my picture of their home!
