Walking along the quay, the Old Quay is reached, where the Boatmens Association have their quay office and notice board.
Above the board is Town Beach.
Far left is Buzza Hill.

What a surprise to see this as I have just returned from the Scillies, you've got to keep an eye on this sign or the one outside the Tourist Information Centre. A great week (Scilly Walking Festival) except for Wednesday when there were no boats running due to strong winds. Oh yes, there were boats to Trescoe.Went to Trescoe on Thursday and caught the last boat back to St.Marys; I wonder what happened to the fellow who was late and waving for the boat to stop as we pulled away from the quay?
It is vital to keep yourself aware, of tides and weather, as the 'fellow' discovered. Good to read that you have enjoyed yourself, It is a great place, in all respects.
