Daniel Place - 2

Ordnance Survey 1936
By 1936, the street was complete, named Daniel's Place. Then it showed a complete run of houses, except for the section 'A', starting 5 houses from the west end (marked with an X) the width of seven houses; the building was a garage for many years, until it was opened up in recent years and a courtyard development built.
I see Brighton Terrace where I lived at No 2 and No 4 during the early 30 s. I believe that No s 2,3and 4 belonged to the Queen s Hotel
No s 5,9,10and 11 the Western National

Wonderful pieces of information that will not be found in any guide book. Thank you.

Also on the map I see what was the five little cottages of Cottage Place running south from South Place Folly

I believe I mentioned Cottage Row which was behind the Queen s Hotel,a row of ten cottages which were vacated when Treneere was built
only to be filled again with evacuees at the start of WW 2..
