The lady shown here once taught English to some young men from Saudi Arabia. One said to her, Get me water! in the most peremptory tone and she spent much of her lesson gently explaining that women are not regarded as the subordinates of men in this nation.
Mind Sets that develop as a Social Order or Belief Framework cannot be changed. For some reason it has been difficult to describe just what being British means of late; someone has the misguided idea that it is not politically correct to be proud of our way of life.
