St Anthony's Gardens, Penzance

One of several old postcards that show St Anthony's Gardens as they were more than forty years ago perhaps.
Is that Dr Who arrived in the picture, just over the wall? A click on this pic makes it more interesting.

Unusual, not a lot of weather apparent for this part of town. Interesting that St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost causes/property. So there is hope that common sense may yet prevail.

That is not a blue 'Police Box', there was one in Treneere, opposite Garlidna, and another by the Railway Station. I cannot remember any others.

I can remember one at the bottom of Morrab Road, I think it got painted grey before being removed.

Was that between the garage and Mount's Bay Hotel? I can remember two telephone boxes by Morrab Gardens lower entrance, I think.

Between the Morrab Road entrance to the gardens and the shops. It actually backed onto the very furthest corner of the gardens.
