One can well imagine Dolly Pentreath loading up for the day's fish jowsting here. Treeve informs us that one sole female source gives Duck Street for Dolly's home though more than one other contradicts this. Might both homes have been correct at one time or another?
You see, one says that Dolly lives in a cottage overlooking the harbour. Most do not say any location. But that old lady KNEW Dolly, so I am working on the thought that her memory would be from a more fit time in her own life. I now think that she lived in Duck Street at an earlier time, then moved on when her husband died, remember she is stated as being very poor and cared for by the parish. A smaller 'shed' might be more suitable.
