Colours show this lode contains several minerals

The red/orange, grey-black and green, indicate a possible mix of ores and oxides of iron, tin and copper but there will be sulphur and tungsten among others, I believe. The main rock that miners had to tunnel through was the 'killas', a slatey, metamorphic rock.
How this looks, and in particular, the yellow/gold colours makes me think it could be a section from a Klimt painting.
