Branwells Mill

Hi there, this picture supplied By Tommy and Rene Bennetts and it shows Branwells Mill, Now a car park and entrance for Club 2k.
But see the building!!..... I cannot remember this at all...(Too Young!!)
But what a shame its not there today.
We've placed this in the 1970's, and if you look behind the bus you can see a veranda on the the Railway Inn which is also not there today(the veranda) and the name has changed to The Longboat.
I promise you, the building is still there. It has been altered, yes. The section of building that you can see closest, is the two storey office section that has been demolished. The Railway Inn did not have a verandah in the first place.

Could be slightly earlier, that s one of the early Harveys blue buses between Pz and M hole, I used to ride on it when a lot younger. If I m right that was also 2 way traffic around there at that time.

hi all yes it used to be 2 way traffic and the building was formerly Parkers of Penzance back in the 70's after the shop in market jew st caught fire it was first Parkers wood store but mr Parker moved everything there after the fire

Looks more like the early 60's to me. I'm sure the blue buses from the 70's were a later model than this one.
