No not on the boat. I just noticed the date for this spread of pictures you posted. In June I was working at the Seafarers in Penzance. I married missp in July
I seriously wonder if you might have served up to my in-laws and Jan and me. When they were down, we quite often ate out there! Sad to see it empty for so long!
@ tpp. I was a learner (Commis Chef) back then in charge of vegetables, salads and bar meals. Occasioinally let loose on main courses when quiet and under supervision.
The art of cooking as of most trades is to start with the basics. If you learn how to cook vegetables correctly then you are a long way there. Fresh ingredients are of course important. It was around this time when learning my trade the UK public realised that you did not have to cook vegetables for two hours before presenting them to the table. Unfortunately my Minlaw never realised this, however missp has perfected this area.
I remember greens over at Noah's Inn, near St Ives being blue-green some years ago - a bit frightening, but never mind, I beat my expert darts-playing son-in-law there, a feat never to be repeated!
