The End of The World
Here begins the Land of Lyonesse.
Runnelstone Buoy and Longships Lighthouse; the jagged reef of Carn Bras and Tal-y-Maen. The smaller rock is Kettle's Bottom.
Scillonian III was five miles from Longships.
As we pass the last rugged cliffs and the sub-marine dangers of reefs between here and the land, the cloud above seems to beg the question as to the weather for the rest of the day, and it all seems to mark the entrance to another time and land of legend.
