A miner's 'crowst' corner

The miner would allow himself a corner to enjoy a pasty, take off his hat for a moment's respite or replace a burnt out tallow. Before the days of health and safety, one wonders how suitable it was to 'pee' below. Perhaps urine probably left the body in the form of sweat.
One Peed in running water (don't drink the water)
Other business in the receptacle provided.
